Right now it is difficult to find someone in the list, althought it is very detailed. What I suggust is that ... Well, you can go to http://www.eas.asu.edu/cgi-bin/www/homepage, and have a look. Thanks. Xingping He From liufan@chargers.ent.ohiou.edu Tue Sep 05 13:55:44 1995 Hello, Cai: I have no idea about the introduction of your department. I don't know the history about our department at all. I have left school for two years, there must be a lot of changes during these years. If you have some samples for other department, maybe I can follow it. The best idea is send an e-mail back to HUST and find someone in our department to do this. Anyway, I would like to do some work for our group. Regard, Fan Liu From yiqiang@utdallas.edu Thu Sep 21 15:38:32 1995 Hi, Mr Cai. I am tian Guichang, PLease say hi to your family and our fellow friends husters. pls send me an e-mail if you see this. My wife and I are both in mayo clinic. Actually we went to madison for several times, hope to visit you sometime. sincerely tian From cx1@fracto.eng.wayne.edu Sat Nov 11 21:00:20 1995 Hi, I am an alumni of HUST. It is a great pleasure to find HUST's Alumni home page in the network, thank you very much for your work. But I think there may need a big improvement to make the home page more friendly, at least not too worse than other chinese universities. It is possible to make a good one just as U. of Sci.& Tech. of China or Peking U. made, maybe even better. Thank you for your consideration of this advice. I believe if we have a alumni homepage good enough and convenient enough, we may find in fact we have such a big alumni in USA. Anyway it's nice to HUST as well as to ourselves! Thank you again! Bye! Chixi Xiong From altinkiz@aol.com Thu Dec 14 11:46:55 1995 As you can probably tell, I'm not Chinese (nor have I ever been to China) I just wanted to write to tell you that your HUST page is great. My very good friend is there working with grad students, teaching English. It's great to get a sense of where he is and what his environment is like. One question: does everyone at HUSt have access to e-mail? My friend doesn't know about it. It would be great to communicate with him through e-mail instead of snail mail! I am also planning a trip to China to visit my friend in the spring. I am very excited about it & I'm sure your page and others like it will give me a basic idea of China before I go. I was playing with the html stuff and wrote a little page. If you would like to use it let me know. It is a "registration form". you may check it out at http://irvin.psyc.memphis.edu/xhu/mathd/reg.html I used some CGI scripts that can transform the "registration form" into the format similar to the entries in "Alumni List". I have a machine and I have an httpd server. So, if you need me to do anything, let me know. Again, you did a great job setting up the page for us.
